About Us
Social Innovation Africa (SIA) is an economic, social, cultural and governance Think Tank. As a nonprofit, we are focused on accelerating Africa’s development. Our ultimate goal is serving Africans through the provision of information and knowledge, building strong eco systems of support to build their social enterprises and robust governance structures through national networks, production hubs, relevant entrepreneurial education, policy and advocacy so that they can reach their full potential. In order to achieve its goals and aspirations for a prosperous innovative and dynamic contingent, good governance, peace and security is a pre requisite in a sustainable manner.

Social Innovation Africa is a celebration of us as African people. SIA celebrates our rich heritage and gives a glimpse, an insight, into the Africa of today, the Africa we are and the Futuristic Africa we can become. SIA is an economic, socio-cultural knowledge co creation Think Tank rooted in feminism ideology.
We are about how we use our entrepreneurial spirit, knowledge, herstory, dating back thousands of years and fuse it with technology in all its glory to live better, to articulate better, to serve ourselves better for the fulfilment of our destiny of a continent that has everything we need and much of what the rest of the world needs.
SIA IS A BRIDGE
SIA is a bridge for Governments, Industry, Communities to take concrete, meaningful transitions for sustainable communities that are independent and creating wealth. It is time for the women of Africa to be ‘seen’ not just by the odd male Champion here and there, but recognized by governments who, to date, have skirted on the sidelines of women empowerment programs.
WE EMBRACE TECHNOLOGY
We need our policy makers to actively allocate budgets that create an environment in which women can actively grow their businesses with dignity. Embracing technology is no longer just for interest, it is now an imperative and our relevance is proving greater than
ever.
Our partnership with the AIMS Institute was born where we now have courses that provide African countries with its own home-grown institution focused on a Futuristic Africa.
New skills that help industry to adapt to a constantly changing world of work are available,
with impressive faculty lecturers.
