Advocacy

The backbone of our work relies on advocacy that promotes  social innovation propelling women trapped in SGBV forward by consistently engaging with policy makers on strengthening the ecosystem for social entrepreneurship.

Governments crafting entrepreneurial policies for this  enabling environment is critical. Our Founder was part of a team that developed the first entrepreneurship Policy on the Continent, and we are using this experience to lobby for duplicating this across the continent.

One of our key goals is continuing to grow our core of entrepreneurs on ground, raising awareness of  this nascent social enterprise sector. Using technology to run advocacy campaigns we are contributing to the general understanding of the enterprise landscape.

Documenting best practices and capturing the impact enterprises are creating in our country networks demonstrates this sector’s contribution to solving societal challenges.
